Testing regulations
Students enrolled in the NSYSU undergraduate program need to meet the following test requirements and will be graded accordingly.
-English Development Indicator, EDI
The EDI exam is held at the end of each term, with the purpose of assessing individual development in the English language. Students will be tested over the course of 75 minutes in listening (50%) and comprehension (50%).
-Mid-term & Final Exam
Mid-terms and Finals are held each semester on the Wednesday of exam week scheduled by the Office of Academic Affairs. Exams are designed specifically for each proficiency level by a council of specialized instructors.
-Online TOEIC Quiz
The Online TOEIC Quiz is held twice a semester at an allotted time set by the curriculum. Quiz questions originate from past TOEIC exams and are online for student practice.
